Coaches & Managers

Complete the following before participating in any team activities:

1. Register as a member of USA Hockey. (Cost is $46 plus any affiliate fees if applicable) USA Hockey Registration
2. Register with Nashoba Youth Hockey. (Click "Register" button in top right column on this page.)
3. Complete the background screening. USA Hockey Background Screening
4. Complete the USA Hockey Safe Sport Training. (Required every year and cannot be added to a roster until completed). SafeSport Training
5. Complete the online age-specific module(s) for the age level of play you are coaching. (Cost is $10 per module and only needs to be completed once per age level. Must be completed PRIOR to participating in any team activities and cannot be added to a roster until completed) USA Hockey Age Specific Modules

The following must be completed by Dec. 31st each season):

Coaching Education Program Certification Clinic Requirements

1. Find, register and attend the required certification clinic. The Cost is $55. You can only attend one clinic per season and all coaches start at Level 1. You can take clinics from April 1-Dec. 31 each season. USA Hockey Coaching Clinics

5. Register with Nashoba Youth Hockey.

7. Register as a Manager.

9. Complete the USA Hockey Safe Sport Training. 
10. Choose SafeSport Trained Core or Core Refresher course
11. Required every year and cannot be added to a roster until completed.
12. SafeSport Training

A note about locker room monitors:

NYHA requires that locker room monitors complete SafeSport training to monitor locker rooms.
