Middle School
The Nashoba Youth Hockey Association (NYHA) facilitates the Westford Jr. Ghosts middle school program. This game-only program is for players in grades 5 - 8 attending Westford, Littleton, Tyngsboro or surrounding schools. Teams participate in the New England Sports Center (NESC) Middle School League.
Players will have the opportunity to meet the Westford Academy Varsity Hockey team for one practice during the season.
NYHA is the town hockey program for players residing in Westford, Littleton, & Tyngsborough and manages the registration, coaching, and insurance for the Westford Jr. Ghosts team. Friends of Westford Academy Hockey strongly supports the Junior Ghosts Hockey program. However, the Westford Jr. Ghosts teams are not managed by the Westford Public Schools athletics program.

Mid-October through end of March
Games
Guaranteed 16 games. All teams enter playoffs.
Games are generally scheduled by the league on the weekends.

Eligibility
Open players in grades 5 - 8 who reside in Westford, Littleton, Tyngsborough or the surrounding area.
Players are required to register with USA Hockey.
Teams are co-ed.
Uniform
Junior Ghosts jerseys and socks will be distributed at the first game.
A uniform deposit will be collected during registration. The uniform deposit is required and will be refunded once jerseys are returned at the end of the season.
Note
Teams are typically formed as 5/6 and 7/8 levels. Team(s) will be formed contingent upon the registration of a sufficient number of players.
**Middle School players are not eligible to take part in NYHA-sponsored free clinics.**
